I could see cricket working really well on Wii. The Wiimote could be used for batting and bowling, obviously, and they could use a similar idea to the jogging on Wii Fit to simulate the running. Not sure about fielding though.

I have ordered the Ashes Cricket 2009 for my Wii and can't wati to reach my door.
Wii will be the best consol to play cricket. Both batting and fielding.
Especially the bowling side.
If somebody can make a ball with sensor inside and strap on wrist, then we can do all the variety of bowling (spin, fast, medium) everything. That will be cool.
Even throwing to make run out, can be done flawlessly with the MotionPlus incorperate within a cricket ball.
Batting.. yeah.. what about making a MotionPlus Bat..
The possibilities are so many...
