This sounds alot like Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King, considering that he was a young king, and in the game it is said that the kingdom was a promised land from his father. Could this possibly be a retail release of the popular WiiWare version.

Hmmm, I don't see it being a retail release at all, why would they change the name for it? It's likely just another spin-off to keep us waiting until The Crystal Bearers.

Honestly, I would like to see a conventional Final Fantasy game for the Wii that doesn't have "Crystal Chronicles" in the title ("The After Years" is probably as close as we'll get).
