Come to Wii. Please.

Come to Wii. Please.

IGN.com have today reported that Okami may well be heading to the Nintendo Wii system.

According to a "reliable industry insider" Capcom are seriously considering bringing their beautiful Okami title, a game which requires you to control an innovative magical paintbrush, to the Wii.

While the game would fit perfectly hand in hand with the Wii's motion sensing a Capcom UK representative said on the matter:

"Officially we have no plans for Okami on Wii at this time. Research and development are always looking at possibilities but given Clover is now closed for business, I think it highly unlikely a Wii version would be possible."

Bah humbug.

In other news Rare-Ware have announced that they may be interested in bringing a Viva Pinata or Kameo title to the DS. Yes please Rare.

I would love Okami on the Wii! I try to avoid funding Sony - not cause I don't like them, just cause I like to root for the underdog.... quite literally in this case ;)
