You Heard The Man.

Tobacco smoke could stop you from enjoying the latest release in the popular Super Smash Bros. series.

According to a press release from the Big N today, the loading problems that have marred the Japanese launch of Super Smash Bros. Brawl are down to the consequences of your Wii passive smoking.

The error message which read "Unable to read disc" are the cause of 'dust and tobacco building up on Wii laser units'. Being the first game to use a dual-layer DVD, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is consequently the first title to be affected by this problem.

The problem can easily be fixed by giving the Wii's laser a good clean which Nintendo have offered to do for free for all Japanese gamers that have encountered the problem.

More proof that smoking is bad for you guys.

I'll be honest - I don't know what dual layer means. Presumably it's good though?

Here is what I found out about dual layer

A Dual Layer disc differs from its usual DVD counterpart by employing a second physical layer within the disc itself. The drive with Dual Layer capability accesses the second layer by shining the laser through the first semi-transparent layer.
