Shaky cam galore in new gameplay video.
For all the hubbub about lightgun games on Wii, Capcom's Resident Evil spinoff sequel Darkside Chronicles looks like it's shaping up to be a pretty impressive piece of software. While the original games didn't typically have their two main characters together for most of the adventure, the reimagining of 2 and Code Veronica looks to up the tension, although the reliance on shaky cam stuff may be a little much for some.
It's certainly a beautiful game, and it'll be interesting to see whether it out-"guided experiences" Dead Space: Extraction down the line.

Can't wait! Seeing as I actually liked Umbrella Chronicles (to a point), this should be great for me being a Leon fan.

I picked up Umbrella a little while ago but only played the first mission. This trailer makes me want to go back to it.

Lightgun games are awesome (IMHO) and I loved UC. All they need to do is make headshots a little easier.

Wow! Great Graphic for a Wii Game. I think it is better than in Umbrella Chronicles

Yay some Code Veronica love! I must get this now (well I'd have got it anyway but a bit more excited about it now).
Though I just can't help but think that if they've remade the graphics for every single Resident Evil now in real 3D, why not release updated versions of all the games in the series?

So... why didn't they include Resident Evil 2 in the Umbrella Chronicles? Other than that, I'm excited for Code: Veronica and I hope they don't change the stories as much as they did in Umbrella Chronicles! Seriously, some parts felt like a Fan Fic! And what's with putting Jill's scenario from RE 3 in the same part of Raccoon City that RE Outbreak was taking place? They were in 2 totally different parts of the city!
Sigh... ah well, at least it was still fun if not totally deviating from canon at times.

Since it's 2 players I'll be renting it at least.
