Looks really solid and the voice acting is solid (though that might be the trailer, only). A little concerned about frame rate hitches even though this is also targeting more powerful consoles... maybe spotty capturing? But the visual design is very appealing to me, and the "feel" of the game play seems fluid and fun from what I can tell just from seeing it in motion.

Also, the trailer is almost all gameplay, with the theme and characters expressed through the audio. This is how I like game trailers to be.

Oh, this is lush! Oozes Zelda inspiration without being too obvious about it. (I will concede, my heart sank with the initial piano plonking, but glad that took a back seat. Someone knew what they were doing lol.)

I really like the simplistic geometry and shading on the character models. It invokes a WW type cell-shading while still keeping to its own style. I really hope this one turns out well.

Yes, Nintendo was the first company to come up with cel shading and a plot setting that takes place on islands surrounded by waters.

Wavetale was one of my favourite games of last year. On Stadia it was such a thrilling experience, with great graphics, music and controls. I hope the port does justice to the game, because playing again on Switch will be a treat.

Love the music and overall vibe in the trailer. Making me nostalgic for Beyond Good and Evil.

Kind of seems more like Sonic with how fast-paced it is. Anyway, we've been needing more platformers, and it looks fun.

This is right up my alley. Reminds me of Solar Ash and The Pathless, both of which are criminally underrated games.

@Mattock1987 Ngl that is a take I’ve never heard before. I believe that Journey was a fantastic piece of interactive media that was really worked with less whilst giving more. It didn’t need to add more to the experience and hence it removed all of the fluff that would have bogged it down.

That’s like saying Duck Hunt or F-Zero weren’t games because they were made primarily to feature a core part of the system’s hardware capabilities.

This looks good. It actually has a lot of the subtle animation gestures that give the characters life while playing them, which is what I find really brings down an experience when your character feels unnecessarily wooden, and that’s what I find in a lot of open-world clone games. The character design is also very good. I may have to keep an eye on this one.

But then i watched the trailer, pff looks amazing and stunning.

@Supaguy interactive media- not a game. It required no thought, reflexes or skill. You just walked. Duck Hunt and F-Zero are actual games that require you to pay attention.
