UK Charts: Sea Of Stars Physicals Dawn As Endless Ocean: Luminous Takes A Dive

I’m surprised that EO:L completely fell off the charts this quick.

It's nice to see those numbers from the UK and Japan on a regular basis. Glad to witness the resistance of physical games. 😅

On a side note, it would also be interesting to see numbers from other big markets, maybe not Germany and France, but Europe as a whole, versus America. Maybe something on a quarterly basis for example.

Glad to see Sea of Stars debut well, despite the limited physical release. A good reminder for me to pick up the physical copy soon!

I am starting to really feel the grind in Luminous. I fear I might not even beat it.

Doing a one hour dive and not progressing at all is painful. I came in contact with 76 UML's and not one of them was a rare variant and I need to find at least two of them I think.
This is the classic 15-20 hours game, pushed to a few hundred hours.

I am still glad I played it, but it could have been so much better.
Now I really need to play Endless Ocean 2.

Sea of Stars disappointed me, personally.

Princess Peach holding strong at 12. I did think Endless Ocean might hand around between 30 to 40 for a week but no, it's gone. Japan sales will be stronger, possibly 500k or 600k if we are lucky total worldwide.

@MirrorFate2 You’re not alone. Sea of Stars isn’t bad, but I don’t understand all of the hype.

Still waiting for backer copies of Sea of Stars. They aren’t telling us anything. Last email with an update went out in March, saying it would ship by the end of April. Now we are deep into May and they are radio silent. Meanwhile they keep offering to sell physical copies to various vendors and retail outlets that are shipping already to people who just paid. Unfortunately they made a deal with the devil and said they are using LRG to fulfill backer copies. Hopefully nothing awful comes from that.

Endless Ocean is good but it is not Ever Blue.

Considering tons of people already got the digital version of Sea of Stars, I could see why not many would want to double dip for the physical one. Interestingly, it's surprising that it still makes the top 10.

@DogDetective There were no hype for it, people prefer the game cause it brought back an experience from the glory days of 16-Bit RPGs that we likely will never get again. The 16-Bit style sprite work, the active time battle system, the midi style soundtrack, and the in-deph story were all showcase in the game as a love letter to those who grew up in the 16-Bit era that wants to revisit that charm one more time.
