No, I don't mean songs from video games...

What songs make you think of a video game?

Here's what I've got to start:

Abba - Chiquitita - Pokémon Sc/Vi
Untitled

The Village People - YMCA - "Young man..." - Xenoblade Chronicles

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

Just a few that I can think of:

The Beatles - Lady Madonna vs. Dr. Mario - Fever theme
The Beatles - Penny Lane vs. Super Mario Land - World 2 theme
Janet Jackson - Together Again vs. Sonic the Hedgehog (MS/GG) - Bridge Zone

The chorus of The Riddle by Nik Kershaw sounds like one of those cryptic instructions you'd get in a Zelda game.

"Remember, Funky's the Monkey!"

I always associate Leftfield's 1999 album 'Rhythm and Stealth' with Star Wars Episode 1 Racer for no other reason than I listened to it loads while playing the game.

Hey there! Totally get what you mean! For me, "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor always reminds me of training montages in classic arcade games. Also, "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey gives me major retro gaming vibes, like cruising through pixelated landscapes. Alongside that, "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga always gets me in the mood for a game of cards. If you're into gambling, you know what I'm talking about. What immediately comes to mind for me is "I Ran (So Far Away)" by Flock of Seagulls.

I would call it the tentpole song from GTA: Vice City. IIRC, The song was in all the TV commercials for Vice City back then. The 80s goodness in that soundtrack was simply epic. It had Toto, Bryan Adams, Rick James, Ozzy, Herbie Hancock, Yes, MJ, Corey Hart, Run DMC, Psychedelic Furs, Lionel Richie, Night Ranger... the depth is just incredible. For me, that soundtrack will never, ever, be equalled.

I think we all know this one but if not just listen to it and you'll figure it out...

Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)

I always thought push it to the limit would be a great final level or boss theme. Also Owl city fireflies sounds videogamy.

Oh and you know the song live to win? That one works too.
